A platform for people whose recovery after the 2021 Ahr Valley flood is still held back by unresolved applications, assessments and decisions.
Why it exists
Reconstruction needs decisions – and people need to be heard.
The initiative grew from first-hand experience with flood recovery aid and the long process of rebuilding.
It gathers unresolved cases, connects those affected and seeks direct dialogue with the ISB development bank, assessors, public administration and policymakers.
The aim is not broad accusation, but clearer procedures, reliable contacts and practical progress for individual cases.
What the initiative does

Round tables connect those affected with institutions, experts, administration and politics.
Keep asking
Open questions and developments are documented and followed up.
Create public awareness
Media work shows where recovery is stalled and which solutions are needed.
